so, i continue to procrastinate. i should paint, and i will, but when? maybe in another ten or twenty minutes. maybe i will actually get the bjork portrait done, that would be wonderful, most wonderful.
so, i am actually reading non-academic material and it feels exhilarating! but i think i am ready to finish it soon and move on to something else. well, the book is called the memory room, it's about this lady and recurring memories of her father being cruel to her, and the present, visits with the therapist, hanging out with her old horny neighbor lady and some nuns that think that she has a stigmata (i don't know how to phrase that...), and every now and then she quotes verses from the bible, well, phrases actually. it's interesting, it flows like prose poems, which is nice and interesting, but i'm ready for something new. i'm almost done, just about two hundred more pages to go, and then i think that i might read this book called the king's evil, i don't remember what it's about, but maybe i will post something about it in my next entry, if i ever get around to writing another one any time soon.
so, the art show is coming up, in about four-five days, i guess five, because today isn't over yet. but yeah... so i should paint.
i had a weird dream. it was nonsensical.

i have been pretty tired lately, though i do admit that i have been procrastinating excessively, much like i am procrastinating now. but i believe that i can say on my own behalf, it is what has been keeping me sane so far this semester. well, i guess i could be wrong, if i didn't procrastinate i would have more time for myself anyway, but i am a procrastinator so i can't help it, well i could, but then i wouldn't be a procrastinator now would i?

which reminds me of all of the assignments that i have to complete. i know that they aren't all that much, but in addition to the procrastination it can be quite overwhelming.

English: Revise and edit essay, due monday; begin research essay excercies, due sometime next week; work on portfolio, due on november 22.
US History: four chapters of text book reading, 2-3 page essay.
Painting: painting due monday for critique.
Art History: text book reading (completed ^_^)
Psychology: Essay, due thursday
Speech: a speech and read two chapters for next Friday.

:S

well, if i get off my bum, or just start on the essays right now, and then do the reading, i think i will be okay...

i want to go back to sleep.

today i managed to waste a lot of valuable time.
i only had to go to one class today, art history, which was extremely interesting, but the other students in the class frazzle my nerves, i guess i could say. plus i was kind of sleepy. :S
well, i came home, ate, was on the internet for a good amount of time, and watched cradle will rock. it's an excellent movie i recommend it to anyone that is into politics, art, theater, and music. (so that covers a wide spectrum of people) then i went to the library checked out some movies (dr. jekyll and mr. hyde, and amelie) the i went to the mall with my mum and sister, and wandered around, i was trying to move constantly for at least half an hour, so i walked everywhere! then came home, watched the beginning of a clockwork orange, and then i left for bible study. and then came home and finished my assignment. (it wasn't a total waste, but i could have gotten a lot more done.)
well, tomorrow i have three classes to attend, i have a quiz, a lecture, and a painting. and then i am going to go and have a nice chat with my great aunt. ^_^ hopefully i remember how to get to her house!
so, i have to get to sleep soon.
much love,
margot.

so today i had my midterm in u.s. history. i think that i did all right. i hope that i did all right. :S so, now i just have to make sure that i can keep up with the reading, which i know isn't hard, i just procrastinate to no avail...

so i have resolved to try not to procrastinate, i hope it works.

i also have resolved to try to eat healthier and figure out at an excercise program. today i went walking/running at bucklin park for half an hour. i feel great. ^_^ i hope that i can get myself to keep excercising. i think i am going to try and get myself to excercise in the morning sometime. maybe a little stretching, a little dancing, some yoga positions. ^_~

well, i have to sleep now, i know it's early, but i must. plus i am going to try and get in some textbook reading as well.
